I've removed ftwnn and tried to install scim-chewing in the last 2 days but still can't get it to work. More accurately, I should say it worked for 3 minutes and somehow it just went dead.
I tried to install and uninstall and install in other ways (with YAST search, through .rpm, manually via console, and with different versions), but all the same, it didn't work. It seemed to run okay in the console and configuration seemed to be fine as well, but myteriously I couldn't trigger it to work in kate, kopete, or any other applications, even though I put down the same commands that once triggered scim to run for a little while.
When can I get this done? Should study some Micro II now before going running with Silvia. The end of the Easter vacation is right at the corner! (Sounds like the end of the world, hope, happiness...)

Dear Little Bubble,
the solution to your problems is nigh.
I figured it out on my computer.
Bke.
